Hi there,
I have a 2003 registered 807 LX. It does not have electric sliding doors however the nearside rear slider doesn't open at all from the outside. It can be opened from the inside however.
The place we bought it from initially advised it was the child safety system, but this clearly cannot be the case because we can open the door from the INSIDE (unless the safety system is activated). It was back at the dealership last week and they apparently fixed the problem, however it has come back with avengance.
If we lock it from the keyfob and then unlock it again, the slidey door will not open at all. If I open the slidey door from the inside and then shut it again, I can open the door with no problems. However since the car was back at the dealership last week, I can no longer do this. It just won't open at all whether the car is locked or unlocked.
Obviously, there are safety issues here especially if we cannot open the door in an emergency.
The dealership has reported that there is a "special thing" you can do to maybe resolve the problem, but a Google search has yielded no results at all. Some websites even speak of the ability to be able to "reboot" the car, although I have yet to find any more information on this.
Any other help gratefully received! |
